“Paul and James (father and son) were great from the off. They were the only company who offered a free site visit to scope the works and priced on the job not just an hourly rate. I appreciate our job was simple but I’m never prepared to just have people in on an hourly rate with little more than a promise it ‘won’t take too long’. They were detailed in the quote discussing the various options available and perfectly happy to take the time investigating one room in particular and whether it would be a simple or complex piece of work. I appreciated this level of attention, it’s exactly this kind of surprise that can catch you out and cost big. The work itself was very good, particularly pleased with the suggestions they put forward for the living room and kitchen, worked a charm and never occurred to me. They were very flexible on the day, quite happy to scale back in a couple of places but add in others as we needed and indicate what the implications would be. My only small complaint was the mess created, dust and the like, wasn’t always cleaned up, but on balance timings were tight and it’s a small concern. Overall 5* very happy, thanks gents.”

“James and Paul oversaw a complete re-wire of our house, including thourough review of all my work (I wanted to do what I was able to myself) and doing the connection work to the mains supply. They guided me well throughout, including helping me refine my plan of works and working with me on the input I’d need from them. They were always available to visit at times that suited our progress and timetable. They kept in touch and were always on hand to offer help and advice, but at no point pushy on progress or input. The fee was fine, agreed up front and they kept to it. Overall we’re delighted with the work they’ve done and help provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and indeed use them again.”

“Worked very hard to understand our requirements and were very flexible in terms of the options that put forward to enable the electrics installed to meet future requirements. They were very quick to respond to queries and resolve any matters that arose to meet our requirements. The work was delivered on time and on budget. We are currently refurbishing our house and they have even offered to return to perform work once the house refurbishment is complete, despite the work they were requested to perform having already been completed (good service, exceeding our expectation).”
“Paul and James were brilliant, we were so impressed with their manner that we asked them to do a full rewire of our house which included: Installed lights and downlights in all rooms; Installed new powerpoints in all rooms; Installed outside lighting and powersockets, including power to the shed; Linked up our underfloor heating in our bathroom; Completely new wiring throughout and powerboard (they thought of everything). Because of the nature of the work (a completely new rewire which involved cutting into concrete and brick), we decided to get in a plasterer to patch and skim the walls afterwards. This was because we realised very quickly that this was not a job that I trusted electricians to fix for me at an appropriate standard. I would definitely ask James and Paul back again, they were flexible, very price reasonable and always followed through on what they said they would do. And put in little extras for us like a power ring in the loft in the event that we want to extend later and also wired our telephone and speaker cables at the same time.”
